Beginners Pilates  

Ideal for anyone with back or joint problems and injuries. All abilities and situations welcome. New course Starting September 17 £6 per class.

 Gentle Freestyle Fitness Yoga  

Freestyle Fitness Yoga is a fitness program that targets flexibility, stamina, strength and encourages relaxation. Yoga postures taught and validated from a fitness perspective. FFY concentrates on movement, breathing and transitions from one posture to another. There is no chanting or use of Sanskrit as in that of traditional Yoga. Postures are prescribed from a modern fitness aspect with a mindful method of teaching that reflects the Buddhist traditions of Yoga in a more contemporary and social environment. - A fusion of traditional Yoga postures with contemporary fitness principles allowing you to own your practice and release the modern inner Yogi. Allowing you to find an equilibrium state in body and mind. Our Gentle FF Yoga is very soft and flowing with a combination of standing and seated postures and sequences. Suitable for all levels.

Mums & Babies Freestyle Fitness Yoga   Freestyle Fitness Yoga is a fitness program that targets flexibility, stamina, strength and encourages relaxation. Yoga postures taught and validated from a fitness perspective. FFY concentrates on movement, breathing and transitions from one posture to another. There is no chanting or use of Sanskrit as in that of traditional Yoga. Postures are prescribed from a modern fitness aspect with a mindful method of teaching that reflects the Buddhist traditions of Yoga in a more contemporary and social environment. - A fusion of traditional Yoga postures with contemporary fitness principles allowing you to own your practice and release the modern inner Yogi. This class combines standing and seated postures, sequences and balances, and finishes with well earned relaxation time. Allowing mum's a chance to recharge and rebalance by finding an equilibrium state in body and mind with your baby close by. Suitable for new parents (after 6 week post-partum GP check up) who want a stress free relaxed environment where children are welcome. With no worries about looking after your newborn or yourself. Non judgmental environment for like minded parents who don't want to worry about fitting in feeds or tending to your child. All are welcome.

Description

Strong by Zumba

 

Music led interval training. Strong by Zumba combines high intensity interval training with the science if Synced Music Motivation. In every class, music and moves sync n a way that pushes you past your perceived limits, to reach your fitness goals faster! Every beat has a move and every move has a beat. Work every muscle using your own body weight. You will improve muscle tone, endurance and definition. Feel the burn - The HIIT will keep you burning calories long after your workout. NOT JUST FOR GIRLS!
Spinning   This is a high energy, high intensity class that will push you to your limits! It is challenging, fun and one of the best ways to improve your cardiovascular fitness and tone up. You will ride a variety of flats, hills and sprints burning calories all the way. This class is low impact and can accommodate all ability levels. £5 per class.
Legs, Bums & Tums   This class targets those specific stubborn areas – Legs, Bums and Tums, whilst giving you a full body cardio workout. It will tone up, firm up and burn fat.  Using a combination of floor work and mat based exercises using your body-weight to put you through your paces! A great workout leaving you feeling fantastic! £5 per class.
Total Body Blast   This class does exactly what is says on the tin... Works the whole body! A hardcore class that uses a combination of standing, floor based and sequenced exercise’s to give you a full on cardio, conditioning and endurance workout. It will leave you feeling accomplished and energised. £5 per class. 
Adult Dance   This is a routine based dance class incorporating different styles of dance, from contemporary to lyrical to hip hop. The routine will be learnt over a 6 week period. You will be taught the routine and techniques to perfect the dance to performance standard. We will video progression and a final finished piece for you to see how fabulous you are and how far you have come over the 6 weeks. This is a fun cardio based workout that will challenge you and give you a great sense of achievement at the end!! Introductory offer £30 for 6 weeks – Usually £35
Stretch & Flexibility   This class will stretch those tight muscles and increase flexibility. Stretching is very important for the maintenance and development of your muscles and for preventing injury. Stretching is most underrated yet incredibly important. Whether you do a lot of fitness, have general tightness or want to increase your general flexibility this class is for you. The class will warm your muscles then take you through a series of stretches that will open and release. Leaving you feeling fresh and invigorated. £5 per class.

Description

Pole Fitness  

Pole fitness is not only a fantastic full body workout, it is also one of the most fun and addictive forms of exercise you will ever try! Through flying, spinning and flipping pole fitness will increase your core stability, improve muscle strength and endurance, increase stamina and flexibility all whilst having so much fun you won’t even realise your exercising!! A combination of dance, gymnastics and body weight exercises all flowing and graceful.  £40 per month or £12 pay as you go.

Aerial Hoop   This class is performed in a fabric wrapped large steel hoop raised a few feet from the floor. You will lift, flip, spin and fly whilst strengthening and conditioning your body, improving stamina and endurance. This class will teach you a combination of beautiful postures & poses, flowing routines and circus skills. You will be so determined to achieve the task at hand you won’t realise how hard you working! Currently available on a 1-2-1 and small group basis, regular classes coming soon!
Aerial Yoga Introduction

 

Aerial or Anti-Gravity Yoga uses a silk hammock as a tool to assist the beautiful practise of traditional Yoga. You will float in and with the silk sling to perform beautiful sequences and postures both in the air and on the ground. The structure of the class amalgamates traditional yoga, dance with strength and conditioning exercises designed to render an energy rich full body workout. Benefits of this class include – lowering blood pressure, improved circulation, decreased stress levels and delayed ageing amongst many others. Through laying, hanging and inverting, the hammock will assist in decompressing your spine whilst fully supporting you enabling you to go deeper and stronger into your postures than ever before. After your practice you will be treated to a floating relaxation laying fully within the silk hammock easing away any remaining tensions. Currently available on a 1-2-1 and small group basis, regular classes coming soon!
